Art Opening: January 8, 2011 @ Irvine Contemporary

Irvine Contemporary has to be one of my favorite galleries in D.C. They seem to choose an eclectic mix of artists and seem to be not just of the D.C. art scene but on a more national and international level. I want to go to the opening at The Fridge too on Saturday but I will go to this first then there.

Place: 1412 14th St., NW, near P St., in the 14th Street Arts Corridor and Logan Circle area of Washington, DC.
Time: 6:00 - 8:00PM
Show: Saturnalia
New Work by Gallery Artists

Here is a little blurb from the press release:

"To celebrate the New Year with a festival of new art, Irvine Contemporary is pleased to present Saturnalia, a group exhibition of new works by gallery artists. The exhibition will include works by Teo González, Melissa Ichiuji, Hedieh Javanshir Ilchi, Akemi Maegawa, Alexa Meade, Susana Raab, and Nicholas Kahn & Richard Selesnick.
