The Flea Game

Sundays....makes me thing of????? Flea Market... I more so like the jewlery I find there among other things.Going to the flea market is a past time in of itself. The haggling for the best price between you and the seller and finding that thing you didnt even know existed. Here are a few between D.C. and New York that I thought would be a good resource. People always seem to ask me and I find are left in the dark when it comes to where flea markets are so I thought this post would be helpful.

I wanted to start off though with a one off event I found out about happening today.

I know its last minute but its today: October 18

Time: Noon - 7:00PM

The flier above pretty much speaks for itself but check out Trouble and Bass's Blog

Now to carry on to the Flea Markets... I will keep it simple and to the point. ***Note***Click on the names of each if underlined to go their websites. If you know of others please comment and add.

WASHINGTON, D.C.
Honestly the only flea market I really like in D.C. is the one in Georgetown.

Http://www.georgetownfleamarket.com/

Its a true to form flea market where you can find some wonderful things.. and meet some wonderful people.

~~~Georgetown Flea Market~~~
Located @: 1918 35th Street,NW (Right off to the west of Wisconsin Avenue and above
S Street; Across from Safeway)
Time: 8:00AM - 4:00PM Every Sunday
~~~Easter Market~~~

Located @: Along 8th Street, SE (Hitting C Street, SE)

Metro: Eastern Market

Eastern Market is more hit or miss. It more so has vendors selling brand new wares rather than a real-deal flea market. When I think flea, I think a place where I find random old or vintage or whatever kind of things. There is some here... but it is worth checking it once in a while.
